Hello! We at The Wetherill School are eagerly planning this year’s annual fundraising event benefiting our beloved school - to be held April 23, 2026 and we need your help.

Who are we? The Wetherill school is a well-established educational institution in Gladwyne, founded in 1976, serving preschool through kindergarten-age children. The school functions as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation governed by a board of directors. We are licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Academic Schools and are a member of the Pathway of Continuous School Improvement of The American Montessori Society. This gem of school is rooted in tradition and innovation with first-rate educators.

Making a difference. As with most private institutions, fundraising is critical to operations. Our annual fundraiser and auction is our main fundraising effort. It is through your support that we are able to maintain our unique learning offerings, infrastructure, and affordability. Donations help to support:

• Enrichment programs (e.g. environmental lessons from Riverbend)

  1. Classroom (both indoor and outdoor) and playground improvements

  2. Tuition Assistance

  3. Teacher professional development

The benefits. A great way to distinguish your business to our parents and alumni and reach families in the community. You will be identified as supporting The Wetherill School to our 200+ current and Alumni families. We will send you a letter of acknowledgement upon receipt of your donation for tax records. As Wetherill is a non-profit institution, your donation is tax-deductible.
